Last House on the Block
Eric Johnson/Bill Maddox
Must move on,
I'm getting' caught in the fray
Something says there's a better way
Gonna rise above and
leave this scene behind
I'm gonna live on love and
say goodbye this time
Last House on the Block
Last House on the Block
Sometimes up and
it' s a sometimes down
I'm gonna get it right this time around
Burnin' desire sealed with a kiss
Gonna break these chains and
say goodbye to this
I can't leave no matter what I do
Only if I get close to you
The power of soul can make us
jump and shout
Gonna move on up and
I'll be moving out
Rain

Once a Part of Me
Eric Johnson
Here's a note to say I'm fine
But words escape between the lines
And tells the story, how the glory
Of all our love, fades to dust
But it's all over and done now
Like a bottle placed on the sea
The story of how
You were once a part of me
What's become of our love
Just what's that word I'm speaking of?
When no more the trust, love deserted us
We have built our world on sand
Now is the hurting
Now is the pain
But there will be an answer
On the way
I'll keep holding on

Shape I'm In
Eric Johnson
I can't change
It don't matter what I do
Tried to change
It don't matter what I do
I might walk away
But I come runnin' back to you
I won't lie
I don't know the shape I'm in
I won't lie
I don't know the shape I'm in
I make up my mind
Then I change it again
With the shape I'm in
A dose of love would do me good'
It's such a state I'm in
I wouldn't change it if I could
I can't hide
It don't matter what I say
I can't hide
It don't matter what I say
With the shape I'm in
There's no hidin' anyway
